This weekend we drove over to St. Lawrence and enjoyed a Sunday afternoon with family. The boys loved playing on all of the playground equipment and Talan was overwhelmed with the many children running about. So much that he decided to join them and run all over the place. But he did slow down enough for a few snapshots.
Levi on an old school spring bouncy horse.
Talan couldn't resist the urge either. They looked like so much fun!!
Daddy helped Levi down the big slide.
And he had the biggest grin as he slid down.

An example of that cute grin while swinging. This kid is adventurous.
"That's not a train! Where is Thomas?" Haha, only the parents of little boys would know that Thomas is blue. Not a barrel being pulled behind a TRACTOR. The tractor was pretty cool so he decided it couldn't hurt to take a ride...even though it wasn't Thomas.
Puppies. Yes, the petting zoo had a litter of puppies. 8 of them. Talan had to hold, kiss & snuggle all eight. He even sang to them "rock-a-by baby." There were piglets, a calf and two young goats. But those were a little too scary for my puppy-lov'n boy.
Updates on the boys. Talan is doing wonderful. He's excited about school and enjoys playing with and meeting new friends. We go to the park every day and every time he asks me "Will there be new friends there? & Can I take my cars?" That boy doesn't go anywhere without a car. He sings his alphabet and recognizes nearly every letter. We're working on the phonics and he's slowly understanding that.
Levi is doing awesome too! He is walking much steadier now and is popping out with a new word every few days. His newest is shoe. When it's time to go anywhere, he starts saying "shoe, shoe?" He also has found his adventurous gene. He wants to climb up everything. When I found him on top of the couch, I was a little worried and realized that he can't be out of my sight for more than a second. We haven't done nearly as much signing with him as we did with Talan. Second child syndrome I guess?
We're getting ready for all of the Fall activities. Many Halloween and fall parties are on our calendar. So be on the lookout for some more pics. We tried to go to a pumpkin patch saturday but less than a mile away, Talan threw up in the car. That boy has never thrown up before and he decides to do it in the car!? Uhh!! So, we turned around and headed home. Explaining to him that we couldn't go anymore was a loss. I gave up and decided to let him watch Pinocchio instead. Still don't know why he did it. He wasn't really sick but that did make him feel "blah" for the rest of the afternoon. :(
