Yes, that is my little man swinging like a monkey!! On occasion, the swimmers are treated with Rope Swing Day. This also includes a lollipop!! We first attempted the rope swing back in March with no success. His big, brave daddy couldn't convince him to try it. But this month, he finally did and he loves it!! Especially since he gets a lollipop for trying...teehee.
Talan is swimming like a champ now. I have to get a newer video so you can all see for yourself. He will jump into the pool and turn around and swim back to the wall to safety...all without daddy touching him. One major lesson that the toddlers learn is to try to swim back to the wall if you fall in. Talan also will flip under water & dive to the bottom to retreive a toy with daddy's help. It's amazing how long that boy can hold his breath!! He loves being under the water.
James missed this swimming lesson. Granny's car keeps breaking down and James had to rescue her. Luckily, Mema was in town and could watch Levi while I swam with Talan. Hence, no Levi pics this go around. I also have to add, that Levi is a mama's boy and let the entire natatorium know how strong his lungs are...teehee. He's doing great in the water too. We're not going to continue lessons with Levi until he's a bit older. He loves it, but it's too costly when he can easily splash around in Granny's pool.
