Our little boy is growing up so fast. He is talking up a storm and has a vocabulary of over 40 words. He has discovered that he is no longer bound to the ground. I have caught him many times "stuck" on his night stand and on his closet shelf. He has since grown a fear of heights and screams for help to get down. For a while, he also would not go down his slide anymore? The weather is getting nice and so we are spending a lot of our spare time outside. He hates having sunscreen put on, but it's a necessary evil in our part of the world. Pippen already has to stay inside all day so her pink little nose doesn't get burned any worse than it already is. Dogs were not meant to have pink noses!
This is a great shot of Talan in the hole that James worked so hard to dig...think about how hard the ground is after 5 months of absolutely no rain. We planted a new tree in our yard for our 3rd Anniversary. Talan enjoyed dumping the dirt back in the hole as James scooped it out. His trusty dump truck was always on the job. And of course, when we weren't looking, Talan fell in the hole that was as big as he was. He was a bit shaken up, but otherwise just fine. I love our West Texas Blue Sky. It was a beautiful day.
Around St. Patrick's Day, there was an Irish-Scottish Festival in town that we didn't want to miss because the World's Tallest Horse was on display. Thor is 21 hands tall. I have never seen such a big horse. Talan didn't really care for the horses, he wanted a Mule...a Kowasaki Mule!
More updates to come. I have run out of time today.
Love You,
The Gaines Family
