One Saturday in March, before the temps reached 100, we enjoyed a family picnic at a local park. It was surprisingly pleasant to sit under the big weeping willows on a blanket in green grass with my family. The boys rode their bikes, made friends with other kids playing baseball and enjoyed our yummy lunch. It was a refreshing reminder that the simplest events are most often the most treasured. This was going to be our summer motto..."keep it simple."
