I couldn't resist the urge to visit a Disney theme park since we were so close. I was warned many times, "wait until they're older." While others said the boys would LOVE it! So, we took our chances and braved the Sunday crowds at Animal Kingdom. I was excited...Mickey Mouse and animals...awesome!!! The tree of life was beautiful. You had to stop for a few minutes to really look at all the animals & characters carved within the trunk. This was our last stop before exiting the park. Please pardon our sad & tired faces.
Look!! Chimpanzees! Those little monkeys are amazing acrobats. They're the little specks on the ropes, not my awesome beautiful family. ;)
Daddy & Talan on our first ride. A big spinning dinosaur. We were lucky, as this was our first ride and we only waited 5 minutes to ride. That 5 minutes was killer for my boys. They were scared to death but we forced them on and they loved it!
Silly boys!! Look very closely...Levi has a mickey mouse lollipop and he's not letting loose of it.
We were fortunate to catch the parade and had a perfect view as well. Everyone enjoyed this rest period. Talan spotted a few of his favorite characters and was excited to wave hello to them. A few of them waved back and that really impressed him. Some even shook his hand or gave him high five. And all couldn't help an innocent laugh when they saw Levi sucking on his lollipop. Little guy thought he hit the jackpot with a flavored paci!
Our mission was to find Mickey Mouse. Sneaky little dude was hiding at the end of the parade. Sure wish he was available for hugs. Overall, the adults were very much unimpressed with the magic of the Animal Kingdom. The boys were too young, but you know...they LOVED it!
