Happy Birthday Talan!

OH, my little Talan is the big 2! Here he is in our new carrier for Levi. It's really neat. It ties, so it is completely adjustable. Talan likes riding on my back like a monkey.

My handsome Levi. He's 3 months old today. He gets up on his elbows and looks all around the room. He lights up with joy when Talan comes into view. They're going to be great buddies.

Mmmm, birthday cake! After blowing out his candles, he dove right in. He scored big on his presents. I'll get more pics of him loving his new toys. All I can say is, "Geotrax are pretty cool."

He had his check up and he is a solid, healthy "little" boy. We always knew he was little from day one. He weighed in at 24 pounds (9th%) and 24 inches tall (50th%). He is doing everything a two year old should be. He is very, very vocal now. He's stringing 3-5 words together to make short little sentences. It's so nice that he can communicate what he wants. Instead of saying "more", now he'll ask "more ranch here." Translated to "please, may I have more ranch to dip my delicious steak into? And put it here on my plate." Or "mommy Levi swing." Translated to "Mommy, I want your attention. Put Levi in the swing and play with me." And my favorite "doing mommy, doing?" So cute, he constantly is asking "what are you doing?" and "where are you going?" And we are still potty learning. Some days are completely dry and somedays we are soaked.
